Dear all,
European Citizenship has become a key priority of the “Youth in Action Programme“ (2007-2013) and active democratic citizenship is increasingly at the core of youth work and youth training.

More and more, youth workers and youth leaders are faced with questions and dilemmas regarding European Citizenship, such as: what is European Citizenship? How can it be used in youth work? What does it mean to be an active citizen? Should youth work encourage active citizenship? How can the “Youth in Action” Programme support youth work on European Citizenship? Etc.

New Training Courses on European Citizenship

From September 2008 to May 2009, a new series of five Training Courses on European Citizenship will constitute a great opportunity for youth workers and youth leaders alike to
explore this topic and its concrete significance in youth work.
